Specify alloy, inhibitor variant, water conditions, dimensions and inspection before choosing C44300 for condenser service.

Specification-led brass supply
Admiralty brass C44300 is an inhibited copper-zinc-tin alloy used in condenser and heat-exchanger tubing. The inhibitor and tin addition distinguish it from ordinary 70/30 brass.
Material selection still depends on water chemistry, temperature, velocity, deposits and the OEM specification. Confirm the inhibitor variant and acceptance tests before order placement.
A clearer route to purchase
Write the UNS or EN grade and product standard on the enquiry.
State OD or nominal size, wall, length, tolerances and form.
Identify MTC, examination, marking and inspection before quotation.
Use the 3D builder to organise the product and purchasing data.
Technical specification
Use this summary to prepare the enquiry. The accepted quotation, purchase specification and current governing-standard edition control the order.
Published ranges are enquiry references, not a live-stock promise. Confirm each size, temper, test and document in the supplier’s written quotation.

Selection by duty
Tube dimensions, temper and inspection matched to the retubing or OEM specification.
Water conditions and design duty reviewed before alloy confirmation.
Finish, cleanliness, testing and end condition stated in the RFQ.
Project documentation and third-party inspection defined before manufacture.
Application examples do not establish fitness for service. Confirm medium, composition, velocity, temperature, pressure, fabrication, environment and governing code with the responsible engineer.

Before requesting a quotation
C44300 is an inhibited copper-zinc-tin alloy commonly designated CuZn28Sn1As or CW706R and specified for heat-transfer tubing under ASTM B111.
C44300 is commonly arsenic inhibited. Antimony and phosphorus variants use different UNS designations. State the required grade and inhibitor rather than treating them as automatic substitutes.
A published reference range is 6–101.6 mm OD, 0.5–3.5 mm wall and lengths up to 12 m. Final combinations depend on temper, form and order quantity.
No alloy should be selected from a product name alone. Water chemistry, velocity, temperature, fouling, design and the OEM specification control suitability.
